Individual Case Representation

Attorney volunteers help VLS clients by agreeing to represent low-income individuals with civil legal cases for free. Some attorney volunteers work in law firms, some work as solo practitioners or in small partnerships and still others work for Travis County, the Office of the Attorney General, of the State.

Attorney volunteers represent clients with a wide variety of civil legal problems. Typical civil matters include landlord/tenant issues, social security disability appeals, bankruptcies and consumer cases, domestic violence and family law matters, will and probate issues, guardianship establishment, and real estate cases.

VLS and our clients are indebted to each attorney volunteer and to their staff!
