Legal Representation
One way that Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas helps low-income people is by finding them an attorney who will take their case at no charge. VLS recruits attorneys by holding training seminars and by partnering with law firms and other organizations in the community.
Not all cases are referred to an attorney. Some cases may be placed in one of our other programs. Other cases may not be able to be placed because we simply cannot find an attorney to help or because there is nothing an attorney can do to fix the problem.
