Other Clinics
One way that Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas helps low-income people is by periodically holding legal clinics to help groups of people who have the same legal need. For example, VLS will hold a wills clinic to bring together people in need of a simple will and attorney volunteers willing to help them at no cost.
Remember, not all people sent to VLS for help are referred to an attorney. Some people may be placed in one of our other programs. Other cases may not be able to be placed because we simply cannot find an attorney to help or because there is nothing an attorney can do to help fix the problem.
