Anna K is responsible for the daily operation of the evening legal advice clinics, the Family Law Clinic program, and the assisted pro se programs. She assists the Executive Director with administrative aspects of the organization. She also handles all the CLE seminars.

Doug assists attorney volunteers with their cases by answering questions, providing assistance with forms, and giving strategic and practical advice. Doug also helps volunteers with finding court reporters, mediators and interpreters. Doug reviews all general law cases prior to placement and assists clients who need minimal legal assistance. Doug handles a small caseload and the assisted pro se clinics that are handled in-house, such as the assisted pro se divorce clinics where there has been a history of domestic violence.

In concert with the Board of Directors and Executive Director, Abby is responsible for raising funds from individuals, corporations, foundations and other grantors.  She is also responsible for the agency’s communications, including the website, print materials, and media relations.

Lorena Santos, General Law Case Placement Coordinator

Lorena places all the general law cases with attorney volunteers for representation. She speaks fluent Spanish and helps with translation and interpretation for our Spanish-speaking clients. Lorena also interviews all divorce applicants with cases not involving domestic violence who speak only Spanish. She attends the Wednesday night legal advice and intake clinics to assist attendees and volunteers.

Isabel interviews all family law applicants with cases involving domestic violence. She is also responsible for referring these cases to attorney volunteers for representation. She is a Spanish-speaker and helps with translation and interpretation for our Spanish-speaking clients. Isabel also helps with the assisted pro se clinics and attends the Monday night legal advice clinics to help clients and volunteers.

Martha processes all the information that we receive on our clients and from our attorney volunteers. She prepares all the documentation for our attorney volunteers for their cases and maintains contact throughout the entirety of the case. She assists clients with questions and problems and keeps the in-house assisted pro se clinics running smoothly. She speaks Spanish and assists with translation and interpretation for clients.
