Ensuring that poverty is not a barrier to justice

Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas helps low-income clients access the civil justice system by providing volunteer attorneys who donate free legal advice and representation, and by supporting and training those attorneys. Last year, VLS volunteer attorneys and staff provided nearly 5,000 clients with over 17,200 hours of free legal services.

Interested in the Brown Bag Family Law Series? These training sessions are free for any attorney who volunteers for VLS or would like to begin volunteering.  Participants will receive a one-hour CLE credit for each session.  For more information, please click here, or contact Isabel Salazar at 476-5550, ext. 306 (isalazar@vlsoct.org).
